ACTF titles make Kidscreen Awards shortlist

Four ACTF supported titles have been shortlisted for the 2015 Kidscreen Awards in the Programming category; Bushwhacked, World Animal Championships, Nowhere Boys and Dance Academy - Series 3.

In the ‘Best Non-Animated or Mixed Series’ category World Animal Championships (WAC) is up against Bushwhacked! in the Kids (6-10 section).

The 52-episode factual entertainment series WAC is produced by Blacklab Entertainment and the 26-episode adventure/ documentary program Bushwhacked! is produced by Mint Pictures.

The Matchbox Pictures production, Nowhere Boys and Werner Films Productions’, Dance Academy - Series 3 have both been shortlisted for ‘Best Non-Animated or Mixed Series’ in the Tweens/Teens section.

All shortlisted entries will now continue in the competition through a final round of judging.

The winners will be announced 24 February 2015 at the Kidscreen Summit in Miami.

National Geographic Kids goes wild

Two ACTF-distributed wildlife programs; World Animal Championships (WAC) and Bushwhacked! have been acquired by National Geographic Kids US.
